Alice Cooper talks about the future of Hollywood Vampires

The band will have new material in 2018

In an interview with Heavy TV during his Australian tour, Alice Cooper revealed the future plans of Hollywood Vampires.

"As far as I know, Vampires is going on tour in June, so we should be back in the studio in February/March. All the guys are writing. Johnny [Depp] did five movies this year so we can get together next year. Joe [Perry] is finishing his tour with Aerosmith. I'm finishing up with Alice Cooper so we'll all be touring together soon. It's a diverse band to be a part of."

When discussing his lack of political stance, especially in the current situation, Cooper says that his idea of Rock and Roll is escapism, and that's why his songs don't contain political messages.

“You see politics all day long in the newspaper, on the internet, on TV. You are bombarded with politics and bad news. So you come to see Alice Cooper the same way you go to see Harry Potter. We are the escape from that. For two hours, you can escape to Alice's land.”

Alice Cooper released his latest album, Paranormal, in August and as part of his tour, he performed at the Brazilian festival São Paulo Trip . Check out our exclusive interview with him.
