The singer also talked about his other project, Hollywood Vampires
Currently, many artists are announcing their retirement from the stage, and this has worried fans of all genres, making them wonder who will be next.
Alice Cooper, at 70 years old, is one of those singers who makes us wonder how much longer he will continue touring the world, but according to an interview with Loudwire, he has no plans to retire.
“I’ve never been better in my life. Maybe because I don’t have stress. Everyone in the band is friends, we’re best friends. There are no fights, no ego clashes, everyone is excited for the show, there’s no financial stress. We just do the show and have fun.”
Cooper also spoke to Loudwire about Nita Strauss, his guitarist, who replaced Orianthi in 2014: “She’s incredible! She came in having to work hard to take Orianthi’s place because she’s the best guitarist I’ve ever seen. But Nita is great live, she performs amazingly! I never needed to teach her anything!”
The singer also took the opportunity to talk about his other project, Hollywood Vampires, which features Joe Perry from Aerosmith and actor Johnny Depp. “You have three alpha males. When I first arrived for rehearsal I thought, 'This is going to be a circus. I'm going to stay quiet,' and then Johnny said, 'I'll stay quiet,' Joe said, 'I'll stay quiet,' and then we never had a fight.”
Alice Cooper is currently on tour promoting his album Paranormal, released in July 2017.
