Alice Cooper explains how he reunited the original musicians from his band for his new studio album, titled The Revenge Of Alice Cooper . As recorded in an interview with Matt Bingham of Z93 , the musician spoke about the reunion involving the surviving former members for the new work.

As a result, those involved in the project are: Michael Bruce , guitarist, Dennis Dunaway on bass, and Neal Smith , drummer. The new album is scheduled for release on July 25, 2025, by the record label earMUSIC .

The production was handled by Bob Ezrin , responsible for the band's classic albums in the 1970s. Cooper revealed during the conversation that, even after the band's official separation in 1974, the ties remained. The musicians had already collaborated on tracks from their solo careers, which facilitated the fluidity in the creative process of the new project.

“We didn’t try to make it sound like the 70s, we didn’t try to make it sound like anything — it was exactly what would have happened in 1975. So, I’m very proud of the album. It’s simply a very clever album” (via Blabbermouth ).

Alice Cooper features collaborations on his new album.

However, Cooper also spoke about the feeling of "déjà vu" with his former teammates:

“Oh, yes, definitely. Honestly, it didn’t seem like we messed up the rhythm. And I’d forgotten how funny the band was. And in every song, we got along perfectly. There wasn’t any arguing about any song. Everyone was saying, ‘Let’s try this.’ ‘Oh, let’s try that.’ ‘Let’s try this.’ In the end, we agreed on everything and it was great.”

However, the album will also feature special guests, such as Robby Krieger , guitarist of The Doors , on the track "Black Mamba". One of the tributes is dedicated to the original guitarist Glen Buxton , who passed away in 1997. With old recordings of his solos, Buxton will be remembered in the song "What Happened To You".

According to Alice, the new work doesn't try to imitate the past, but rather to continue the legacy with originality and a collaborative spirit. Initially, the album will be released in a wide variety of formats and limited vinyl colors.

In addition, it will be released in a limited edition box set and in an exclusive art print version (smart format), offering early access to two bonus tracks and the full album automatically available as a high-definition download on the release day.
