Lead singer talks about Perry's health
Alice Cooper first commented on the show in July where Joe Perry collapsed on stage , saying the guitarist wasn't prepared for such an intense tour. Perry, it was later revealed, suffered from dehydration due to the intense exertion.

“I was really scared. I was singing 'Raise The Dead' and I looked to the side and he wasn't there. He was lying on the amplifier, on his back, and I thought, 'Oh my god.' We didn't find out what had happened until the end of the show.”.
Aerosmith does two shows a week and we were doing eight shows in nine days, I'm used to working like that. I'm used to working an hour and forty minutes or two hours, five nights a week. I was in shape and so was Johnny Depp, and everyone else. I think Joe wasn't prepared for that kind of pace.
"You're in fourth gear, there's no 24-hour rest, and I think that finally got to him. He finally went on stage dehydrated. And I think he was exhausted. He told me the night before that he hadn't eaten for two days.".
