Singer Alice Cooper revealed details of his upcoming album this week. Titled Paranormal , the work will feature Neal Smith, Michael Bruce, and Dennis Dunaway, three members of Alice Cooper's original band, and will include guest appearances by U2 drummer Larry Mullen Jr. and ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons.

Cooper commented on the album in an interview with Eddie Trunk: “It’s not a scary album. But 'Paranormal' means something out of the ordinary. It’s not a normal Alice Cooper album. Bob [Ezrin, producer] decided there wouldn’t be a theme this time, we’re going to make an album of things we like. And it can go in many directions.”

Paranormal is scheduled for release in July. The album will be Alice Cooper's 27th album, and his first since Welcome 2 My Nightmare in 2011.
