And the Marilyn Manson continues: while many say that everyone around the musician knew about his abusive behavior towards various partners throughout his life, others, like Alice Cooper , claim to have never noticed the artist's "evil" side.

Cooper, who released his newest album Detroit Stories was a close colleague of Manson, having toured with the musician in 2013, and spoke for the first time about the accusations shared on social media last month. “It’s funny about Marilyn, because I know Marilyn, when we toured together, we got along very well. I never perceived that vein in him, if it even exists. I always believe in the word, accusations are still accusations.”

The artist continued and compared the case to the domestic violence allegations made against Johnny Depp , his bandmate in the Hollywood Vampires and best friend, made (and defeated) by the actress and the actor's ex-wife, Amber Heard . “First of all, here’s a prime example: Johnny Depp. Johnny Depp and I are best friends. I’ve never seen him lift a finger against anyone. He’s one of the kindest people. And all his ex-girlfriends and wives say the same thing. So it’s very hard to believe that suddenly he’s going to turn into this monster. And I know the guy, I’m with the guy on tour all the time. He’s one of the kindest and most harmless people I’ve ever met.”

“Now, I don’t know Marilyn as well as I know Johnny. So, what happens in the bedroom is a complete mystery to me regarding what’s going on with Marilyn,” Cooper concludes.
