A confirmed act for Best of Blues and Rock 2025 , Alice Cooper stated in a recent interview that, even at 77 years old, he never tires of touring.

In an interview with American radio station 98 Rock [via Blabbermouth ], the artist talks about the satisfaction of playing the character he created for the stage 60 years ago and reveals a division between different Alices.

“There were two Alices,” he explains. “There was the original, who was kind of the scapegoat. He was society’s problem. And when I sobered up I thought: ‘I can’t play that character anymore, so now I’m going to play Alice as an arrogant villain. He’s going to be this super arrogant villain.’”

Immediately afterward, Cooper pointed out that one of the reasons he never gets tired of performing and has so much fun on stage is the team of musicians he works with.

“The best musicians [in my band] are all best friends. No egos, nobody complaining. Nita [ Strauss ] is like an angel. She can't wait to get on stage, she's been with us for 10 years, has her own band and played with Demi Lovato for a year. I told her: 'Go ahead and do it. Our show will always be here, it's an open door. You can always come back.'”

Alice Cooper will headline the Best of Blues and Rock 2025 on Saturday night, June 14th. Secure your tickets on the Eventim website .
