After 24 years, guitarist Kane Roberts will return to Alice Cooper , replacing guitarist Nita Strauss , who announced her departure earlier this week.
In a press release, Alice Cooper wrote (via Loudwire ): “I’m looking forward to welcoming Kane Roberts back to our shows in September and October. We’ve been friends all this time and he’s always been one of my favorite guitarists. He’s going to bring even more muscle to the Detroit Muscle Tour .”
“We always keep the doors open so musicians can come and go, so it’s very exciting to be back on stage with Kane. Fans don’t know what awaits them at these shows. It’s going to be incredible. Kane Roberts, Ryan Roxie and Tommy Henriksen on guitars? Let’s go!”
Kane Roberts was Alice Cooper's guitarist from 1985 to 1988, participating in the albums Constrictor (1986) and Raise Your Fist and Yell (1987). For the last 8 years, the band's guitarist was Nita Strauss, who recently announced her departure , but has not yet given many details about her reasons.
