Last Wednesday, the 7th, Kane Roberts made his return to Alice Cooper , performing his first show with the band in over 30 years.
The performance took place in Pennsylvania, at the Wind Creek Event Center, kicking off Alice's fall tour of the United States.
Roberts, who hasn't played with Alice Cooper since 1988, will be filling in for guitarist Nita Strauss during the September and October shows while she tours with Demi Lovato .

Open doors at Alice Cooper
In announcing Kane Roberts' return, Alice Cooper made it clear that his band doesn't usually close doors, explaining: "We've always had an open-door policy where musicians can come and go, so it's very exciting to be back on stage with Kane."
In an interview shortly after announcing she would be touring with Demi Lovato, Nita Strauss reinforced this statement , saying that no one in Alice Cooper is treating her temporary departure as a farewell, but rather as "a step back."
“When I did my last shows with Alice, we had what he called a ‘hiatus dinner,’ where he said, ‘We wish you the best, we love you, you’re welcome back.’ They didn’t slam the door in my face and throw away the key, I’m just stepping away for a while,” she assured.
