The performance took place during a show by guitarist John 5.

Last week, John 5 & the Creatures performed in Mesa, Arizona, where they had a special guest on stage: Alice Cooper.

“If it weren’t for this man, there would be no Kiss ,” John 5 said as he introduced Cooper. “There would be no Marilyn Manson , no Rob Zombie , nothing! This man is a master!” and then the singer appeared. Wearing a leather jacket and sunglasses, he joined the guitarist and began to sing Jimi Hendrix .

The song is a frequent cover in Cooper's setlists, but the version with John 5 is worth watching. See it below.

While Alice Cooper is on tour promoting Paranormal (2017), John 5 is preparing the release of the album Invasion , which is scheduled for this year.
