In an interview with The Arizona Republic, Alice Cooper said he is currently working on demos for the new album, which may feature contributions from classic band members Dennis Dunaway, Michael Bruce, and Neal Smith
“We’re currently writing and recording demos. We have three songs from the original band that we’re going to take a look at and see if we can do something with them. If not, we’ll try. But Neal, Mike, Dennis, and I write songs together. And what we always do is figure out which are the 10 best that will go on the album. It doesn’t matter where they came from. I’ll always write the lyrics. And I’ll always do the arrangements. And Bob [Ezrin] will always produce. If the songs come from Neal, Mike, and Dennis, great! I’d love that. We have some that are just sitting around. We’ll see if they fit in.”
