Alice Cooper , like the vast majority of artists, had his tour delayed. But that doesn't mean wasted time for the rock legend.

In a recent interview, Cooper revealed that he is using the time he gained from the postponed shows to finish his new album. The singer stated, however, that he doesn't like to rest for too long, but believes that extra time at home can be good for re-energizing, and, moreover, it will be good for his vocal cords not to be performing live while recording the album.

Alice Cooper's last release was in September of last year, with the EP Breadcrumbs , in which Cooper paid tribute to the garage rock heroes from his hometown, "the rock capital," as it's called by some: Detroit.
