Last Thursday, the 23rd, Alice Cooper was honored by having a street named after him in Michigan, in the United States. The ceremony took place through radio station WCSX-FM , which is responsible for two other similar honors, originating the streets "Bob Seger Boulevard" and "Glenn Frey Drive".

The “Alice Cooper Court” was officially inaugurated at 2 p.m. local time and was attended by Alice Cooper himself, as well as the cover band The Nightmare . “I love the idea that they’re naming streets in Detroit after rock stars. There are probably more rock stars than politicians,” said Cooper.

To celebrate the news, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland added a replica of the "Alice Cooper Court" plaque to its Legends of Rock , where Alice Cooper fans can see costumes from his tours and even the original of his famous electric chair.
