Alice Cooper: Live From the Astroturf

Alice Cooper: New documentary about the original band's reunion gets a trailer.

The documentary will show the reunion of the band's original lineup, 40 years after their last performance

In 2015, Alice Cooper and his original band reunited for the first time in 40 years when a big fan invited them to play at his record store.

Chris Penn, owner of Good Records in Dallas, Texas, USA, managed to bring Cooper together with Michael Bruce, Dennis Dunaway, Neal Smith, and Ryan Roxie , replacing the late guitarist Glen Buxton , for a full set at his store.

The performance was recorded and released exclusively on Record Store Day in 2018, directed by Penn and Steven Gaddis. Now, the recording will be officially released as a documentary. In addition to footage from the Good Records set, the film will include excerpts from interviews with members of Alice Cooper's band and those responsible for creating the show.

Alice Cooper: Live From the Astroturf will officially premiere in April at the Phoenix Film Festival and will subsequently be screened at other festivals. More information can be found on the documentary's official website.
