Alice Cooper debuted his new album, Detroit Stories, at the top of the Billboard last month.

The album sold 13,000 copies in its first seven days, topping Top Album Sales . Sales are counted from all formats: CD, vinyl, and download.

Of the 13,000 sales, 9,500 were CDs, 2,000 were vinyl, and 1,500 were downloads. The album also reached a good position on the Billboard 200, at number 47.

Detroit Stories is Cooper's tribute to his hometown and marks the singer's first release since Paranormal . If you haven't heard the album yet, check it out below.
