This segment is part of the Jimmy Kimmel Live

One of the most celebrated segments on current American TV is "Mean Tweets," from the show hosted by Jimmy Kimmel—who recently hosted the Oscars for the second consecutive year. The idea is very simple: invite famous people (actors, athletes, musicians, etc.) and have them read mean tweets that people post about them.

Recently, Kimmel created a segment with a music theme, and invited a large and varied range of artists to participate. Among them were some rock stars.

Alice Cooper was one of the first. " I'm watching Alice Cooper and all I can think is that he looks like a bag of balls with makeup on." The iconic star couldn't help but agree. "Fair enough ," he said.

Blink -182 laughed at the honesty of the tweet: “Seriously, saying Blink-182 is your favorite band is like saying you’re happy to have herpes .” Finally, Green Day had to deal with a rather scatological comment. “ I left more talent in my toilet this morning than Green Day ever had.” Drummer Tre Cool responded in kind. “I’m glad you’re thinking of us while you poop. We must be doing something right.”
