Alice In Chains dedicates “Nutshell” to Vinnie Paul during Hellfest show

Alice In Chains' performance took place during Hellfest

During their show at Hellfest, a famous festival held in France, Alice In Chains dedicated the song "Nutshell" to Vinnie Paul , the drummer for Hellyeah who also played in Pantera and Damageplan .

Paul passed away on June 22nd. According to the American newspaper Las Vegas Review , he died in his sleep from a heart attack.

“Almost every night we like to play a song for our good friends Layne Staley and Mike Starr , and we will do that, but I’d like to play this one for Vinnie Paul,” said Jerry Cantrell before strumming the opening of “Nutshell.”
