The single follows the surprise release of "Familiar Drugs".

Alexisonfire is officially back! After releasing the surprise single, "Familiar Drugs" – which recently got a music video – the American group has announced another new release.

“Complicit” was released this Friday, the 24th, marking the group's return after ten years since the EP Dog's Blood , in 2010. In a statement to the press, the group justified the hiatus by saying that “it has been difficult to align schedules to write an entire album,” as the band members are “entrenched in our own lives outside of Alexisonfire.”

In addition to the single, the group also announced some shows for the first half of the year, and every dollar raised from ticket sales will be donated to Indspire , a Canadian charity that invests in the education of Indigenous peoples.

The band's last full-length album was Old Crows / Young Cardinals , released in 2009; two years later, they ceased activities. In 2012 they performed a few shows, and in 2015, they officially returned.

It is not yet known if "Familiar Drugs" and "Complicit" will be part of a new album. More information should be released soon. In the meantime, listen to the single below.
