Alexisonfire Otherness this Friday, the 24th, their first in 13 years, following a hiatus.
The Canadian post-hardcore group explained that the new project came about because they didn't want it to be "an act of nostalgia." The new album is the successor to Old Crows/Young Cardinals (2009) and features 10 new tracks, released by Dine Alone Records .
The previously released singles feature personal and intense themes, with the struggle against one's own demons in "Reverse The Curse ," the need to maintain hope in difficult times in "Sans Soleil," and the track "Sweet Dreams of Otherness .
