Alex Van Halen , the band's longtime drummer , has announced a tour to promote his autobiography, Brothers . The shows will take place between October 21st and 24th in New York, New Jersey, and Los Angeles. To attend these events, fans will need to purchase tickets through the official Van Halen website . Tickets also guarantee a copy of the book.

The book recounts Alex's personal memories of his family, and especially his brother Eddie Van Halen . Written in collaboration with renowned New York author Ariel Levy , Brothers is, above all, a love letter from Alex to Eddie, amidst the grief over his brother's untimely death in 2020.

Furthermore, the book, published by Harper Collins and scheduled for release on October 22nd, has 240 pages and will include previously unreleased photos from Alex's personal archives. It will be available in several editions, including a standard hardcover version, a signed deluxe edition, and an audiobook narrated by the drummer himself. In addition, the audiobook version also includes a previously unreleased song, titled "Unfinished," composed by Alex and Eddie Van Halen.

“We shared the experience of coming to this country [United States] and figuring out how to fit in. We shared a record player, a 75-square-meter house, a mother and a father, and a work ethic. Later, we shared the back of a tour bus, alcoholism, the experience of becoming famous, of becoming parents and uncles, and of spending more hours in the studio than I’ve spent doing anything else in this life. We shared a depth of understanding that most people can only hope to achieve in life,” says Alex.
