According to Ultimate Classic Rock , Tom Morello ( Rage Against The Machine ) is reportedly working on a song with Kirk Hammett ( Metallica ) and Alex Lifeson ( Rush ).

The project reportedly emerged from a virtual session in which the three guitarists participated, but Lifeson stated that he doesn't know exactly "what the future holds" for the music, which is expected to blend the unique styles of each guitarist.

“I think it’s a project he’s doing with several other artists,” Alex said. “[Morello] told me, ‘Put whatever you want in the song – the more, the better.’ He was then going to pass it on to Kirk Hammett, and Kirk was going to do the same thing.”

Rush's guitarist further elaborated, stating that his own contribution to the song is somewhat different from anything the three artists do in their respective bands. "We were talking amongst ourselves while creating everything, and it was a big commotion. I sent my part, it was passed to Kirk, and then he sent his part," he explained. There are still no details regarding a possible release date.
