Airbourne is back in action with “Gusty” , their first new song in six years, since the album
Boneshaker (2019). Full of attitude and determination, this is Airbourne, turbocharged and ready to conquer the world.

For Joel O'Keeffe , his brother Ryan on drums, bassist Justin Street , and newly hired Brett Tyrrell on rhythm guitar, “Gutsy” powerfully highlights everything they stand for: a blood, sweat, and commitment to the cause of rock 'n' roll and a burning desire to honor the genre's true heroes.

More than just a title, “Gutsy” is a statement. A worldview. A line drawn deep in the sand… “It’s how you live, it’s how you die…”

Joel O'Keeffe commented: “When the odds are stacked against you and the battle you’re fighting seems impossible to win; when the vultures are circling and the last hall of chance has firmly closed its doors; when your plane is hitting the runway with a single engine, and that engine is on fire; and when the things you hold dear, the things that define you, are being tested at every turn, then the choices available become much clearer: give up or fight… ask for help or claim glory… Give up or be 'Gusty'!”.
