Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne 's eldest daughter , Aimee , announced yesterday, the 21st, under the band name ARO (her initials), the release of her first album, Vacare Adamaré , via Make Records. Along with the news, the artist shared the single "House Of Lies".
The project began about a decade ago, and the singer explains in an interview with AltPressthe reason behind the delay in its release. “For me, I always felt like I was being run over by a train,” Aimee says about her family's legacy. “And every time I tried to be taken seriously, for a long time, because people had preconceived notions about how I should sound. Because of the family name. And also, you know, people assumed that if you come from a certain background, you have access to unlimited funds and that you have the right to delve into those funds.”
The artist also has a background as an actress, and recently completed the script treatment for a film about her parents' story, Sharon and Ozzy, she reveals, but adds that she can't say much about the production.
album Vacare Adamaré, will be released on October 30th.
