Linkin Park experienced an unexpected setback during their world tour. The band decided to move their September 13th show in Los Angeles, which was originally scheduled for Dodger Stadium, to the Intuit Dome, a venue with three times the capacity.

Initially, the group planned to play to 56,000 people at Dodger Stadium, with Queens Of The Stone Age as the opening act. Now, the performance will take place before a maximum of 18,000 spectators, with rapper JPEGMAFIA filling in as the opening act. In an official statement, Linkin Park announced that they will refund tickets already purchased and give priority to those who bought them in the new sale (via Metal Injection ).

Brazilian fans were also recently caught by surprise. Two shows in Brazil — announced for Rio de Janeiro and Porto Alegre on November 13th and 15th — disappeared from the official schedule, still without explanation. The band had listed the shows as "location to be announced," but removed them from the official announcement, which provoked criticism on social media.

With the cancellations and the reduced size of the Los Angeles show, questions are growing about the demand for the tour. To boost sales, the band launched a promotion offering two tickets for US$39.50.

The world tour features special guest appearances on select dates, including names like Spiritbox , AFI , Architects , grandson , Jean Dawson , PVRIS , as well as JPEGMAFIA and Queens Of The Stone Age .
