In anticipation of the arrival of her new album, Bodies , AFI recently released the dark single “ Tied To A Tree ”. This is the track that closes the new album, which will be available from June 11th and can already be pre-ordered here .
According to guitarist Jade Puget , “Tied To A Tree” is not only his favorite song on Bodies , but also a great example of the band's evolution. The new single follows a mystical and mysterious theme already known from AFI and brings an ethereal and sinister sound to set the scene for a haunting and intriguing lyric.
To complement the atmosphere of magic and mystery, the band recently released a limited edition of products that includes a special deck of oracle cards (one for each song on the new album), prayer candles made of soy, and incense. The items are available for purchase on the interactive website The Bodies Experience, where you can also find a contest launched by AFI for its fans to download excerpts from the single “Dulcería” and create their own versions of the song.
