Music by AFI will be part of the EP The Missing Man , which will be released in December.
AFI has released a new song called “Get Dark”. It’s the first track from the special EP The Missing Man (Ex Noctem Nacimur) . Produced and mixed by AFI guitarist Jade Puget , the EP is scheduled for release on December 7th.
“Thanks to the unexpected continuation of The Blood Tour , we found ourselves inspired to start writing,” said vocalist Davey Havok . “It was during this process that The Missing Man was born.”
Regarding “Get Dark,” Havok said: “From the first performance and recording, there was a feeling of movement and connection. The themes of the song are apotheosis and deference, self-loathing and vanity. All these feelings are presented as a subtle invitation for those compelled to accept.”
