Aerosmith is back on stage after two years without any shows on the schedule, due to both the pandemic restrictions and internal issues, such as Steven Tyler 's admission to a rehabilitation clinic.
The band's last performance was in February 2020, and their residency, which was scheduled to begin in July of this year, was postponed. Their comeback show took place last Sunday, the 4th, in the United States, with a setlist of 19 songs.
The show included band classics such as “I Don't Want to Miss a Thing” and “Dude (Looks Like a Lady)”, as well as “Full Circle”, which was played for the first time since 2013, and two covers: “Remember (Walking in the Sand)” by The Shangri-Las , and “Stop Messin' Around” by Fleetwood Mac .
Since March of this year, the band has announced a "temporary leave of absence" for drummer Joey Kramer , who decided not to tour in order to be with his family. The musician lost his wife, Linda Kramer , 55 , in July, but remains absent and is being replaced by drum technician John Douglas.
