Aerosmith closed out the 2018 MTV VMAs with a surprising collaboration. The legendary American band welcomed rapper Post Malone to the event's finale, performing a medley of the classics "Dream On" and "Toys In The Attic".
The closing sequence began with Malone performing his classic “Rockstar” accompanied by rapper 21 Savage .
The surprise came when, at the end of the song, the stage was taken over by Steven Tyler , Joe Perry & Co., who played the classics accompanied by Malone.
The video also shows Perry destroying a Marshall amp with his guitar.
