Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith announced last Monday, the 15th, their new single "My Only Angel," in collaboration with YUNGBLUD . The song does not yet have a release date, but the artists have made a teaser available on social media.
The release marks Aerosmith's first new music in 13 years, since the 2012 album Music from Another Dimension!. Tyler's last recording was "I Want You Back" in 2023, a collaboration with Dolly Parton .
Recently, Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, and Yungblud, along with Nuno Bettencourt paid a moving tribute to Ozzy Osbourne at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs).
Steven Tyler announced his retirement from touring with Aerosmith in 2023 due to serious vocal problems. The new single excites fans and marks a possible return for the artist who has only performed in occasional shows, such as the VMAs and Back To The Beginning .
