Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler said that Aerosmith may go on a farewell tour next year. Check out the statement:

“In 2017 Aerosmith should go on tour. We’ll probably do a farewell tour. Look, there are only two bands that still have their original members, us and the Stones. And I’m grateful for that. Whether it’s for a farewell tour or another album, I’m excited.”.
The comment follows guitarist Brad Whitford, who commented on Eddie Trunk's podcast in December that the band could embark on one last tour: “It’s because of our age. Something needs to happen. It’s inevitable that someone won’t be able to play anymore eventually. It would be nice to bow, say thank you, and leave the stage gracefully.”
