The band will close out the day on the 21st
Rock in Rio confirmed this week that Aerosmith will be one of the bands performing at the festival. Rock in Rio takes place between September 15th and 24th, and Aerosmith will close the festival on the 21st.
In addition to Aerosmith, Red Hot Chili Peppers has also been confirmed, closing the last day of the festival.
Aerosmith will be playing in Brazil this month, performing in Porto Alegre on the 11th, São Paulo on the 15th, and Recife on the 21st.
