Aerosmith cancels shows due to Steven Tyler's health problems.

Two performances of the band's Las Vegas residency have been cancelled in recent days.

Aerosmith is in the final stretch of their Las Vegas residency shows this year, but health problems for lead singer Steven Tyler have resulted in the cancellation of two performances.

Without revealing many details about the frontman's health issue, the band canceled the show last Saturday, the 3rd, with little notice before the event and informed that the expectation was to proceed normally with the schedule this Monday, the 5th.

“It is with great disappointment that we are forced to cancel tonight’s show in Las Vegas due to Steven feeling unwell and unable to perform,” Aerosmith announced last week. “He is expected to make a full recovery for Monday night’s show in Las Vegas. We sincerely apologize for the last-minute notice.”

Unfortunately, Monday's show will also not take place due to medical advice. "On the advice of my doctor, I'm taking more time to rest... There's no place I'd rather be than on stage surrounded by the greatest fans in the world," said Steven Tyler in a statement released by the band.

Aerosmith's 2022 schedule has only two more performances remaining, both part of their Las Vegas residency, scheduled for next Thursday, the 8th, and Sunday, the 11th, according to the official website . As of now, these shows are still on.

Aerosmith returned to the stage in September of this year after two years without any shows on their schedule. This time without live performances was a combination of the obstacles caused by the pandemic and also by Steven Tyler's health, who was admitted to a rehabilitation clinic in May of this year.
