OUR HISTORY
Founded in 2011, Wikimetal was created by a group of friends passionate about music to fill a gap in the Brazilian market. Attuned to the latest trends in the rock world, the group realized that, despite the large number of shows and products available to this loyal audience, there was still an under-explored market. They then decided to create a portal specializing in rock and heavy metal that offered exclusive content.
In ten years, Wikimetal has become the largest portal of original content in the segment , being updated daily with news, quizzes, polls, articles, interviews, and concert coverage. The portal now reaches 500,000 hits per month and aims to inform the public about the music world, as well as present a perspective on how music fits into society.
