For several days, the city of Los Angeles, California, has been experiencing the suffering of many residents after five fires started simultaneously in various neighborhoods of the city, forcing the evacuation of more than 180,000 residents from the region. According to CNN , 24 deaths have been confirmed, however, the Associated Press has so far confirmed 16 people missing.

Among the many victims of the fires who lost their properties are several celebrities, including Adrian Smith , the guitarist for the band Iron Maiden . Nathalie Dufresne Smith , shared a message on her Instagram to reassure fans and followers: “We are safe. We have each other. We will start again. #malibustrong Thank you for your support during these difficult times.”

This update for everyone came after Nathalie shared a video showing her family evacuating their home while she filmed the smoke rising from a hill near their residence . In the same video, she also asks her husband, Adrian, to check on their elderly neighbor, who was "refusing to leave." After the video, she provided further updates, saying that the neighbor was now safe.

In addition to Adrian Smith and his family, many other stars have been and are being affected by the fires in the region, including Paris Hilton , James Woods , Billy Crystal , Cary Elwes , Mark Hamill , Mandy Moore , Leighton Meester and Tom Hanks .

Born into a family passionate about music of various genres (more precisely, country music and Roberto Carlos), she discovered the good life of Rock and Roll at age 11 (she was Emo, but who wasn't?) through school friends, and hasn't stopped since. Hyper-focused (only on things she likes), she discovered genres that weren't popular at the time and became attached to them (yes, I'm a defender of Metal Espadinha, Folk, and Celtic). Involved with music behind the scenes and even on stage, she even played the saxophone (to play Kenny G). Currently, she plays piano and bass and fiercely defends the idea that you can be a metalhead (any kind) and cry to Corazón Partío. A graduate in Digital Social Media from Belas Artes, she is a Social Media Manager at a music school. She enjoys writing and defending her opinions so much that she became a contributor to the Wikimetal website's writing team.
