, Iron Maiden guitarist Adrian Smith recalled previously untold stories from the band's past.
Dave Murray [Iron Maiden guitarist] recounted that when he met Paul McCartney , the first thing Paul said to him was, "My kids have Iron Maiden posters hanging on their walls."
Adrian Smith also shared his encounter with Johnny Cash :
“Johnny Cash said the same thing – How bizarre is that? Johnny Cash showed up at a soundcheck for one of our shows. I’m on stage going over ‘Wrathchild’ or something like that and I think, ‘Holy shit, it’s Johnny Cash!’”
“So we finished the soundcheck, went to the dressing room, and Johnny came in. He’s the nicest guy, with amazing energy. And he came with his band and told me, ‘My grandkids love you guys.’ Of course, I asked for his autograph. [Laughs]”
