Adam Jones, guitarist for Tool, used his Instagram to reveal the progress of the creation and production process for the band's new album.
In a live stream, Jones said that "the songs are ready. Lyrics are coming in full force .
The news came a year after drummer Danny Carey revealed that the band is working on their fifth studio album, "We'll probably have it out in the first half of 2018. That is, if things go as planned."
Now, anticipation for the album has only increased. More information about the new work will be released soon.
