Adam Jones of Tool has officially unveiled his signature guitars with Gibson , and the trailer for the new guitars features a soundtrack performed by him and his bandmates Danny Carey and Justin Chancellor .
“I’m proud to finally show the world the first release from our long-standing partnership with Adam Jones,” says Cesar Gueikian of Gibson. “Adam is one of the most talented and innovative guitarists; I call him the God of the riff and a sonic architect. His creativity and technical skill in music, visual effects, production, videography, and everything else is incredible, and our collaboration is a true reflection of Adam.”
Two models of the 1979 Gibson Les Paul in Silverburst Antique are being made: a VOS ( Vintage Original Specifications Seymour Duncan Distortion bridge pickup , a Dimarzio volume potentiometer, and custom capacitors."
