According to TMZ , Ace Frehley (former guitarist and founding member of KISS ) is being kept alive by machines after suffering a fall at home . The accident reportedly resulted in a brain hemorrhage.
According to the website, the musician is hospitalized and breathing with the aid of a mechanical ventilator. "Sources familiar with Ace's situation told us that he suffered a brain hemorrhage when he fell in his studio a few weeks ago," they wrote.
The portal adds that the musician's health has not improved and that the family is considering turning off the machines on Thursday night, the 16th.
Rumors about Ace Frehley's death and premature tributes are circulating online this Thursday, but as of the time of this article, there is no official confirmation regarding the guitarist's health status or life-threatening condition.
The musician had canceled all previously announced dates for his 2025 tour due to unspecified "medical issues" following a recent hospitalization. The musician's announcement came two weeks after canceling a performance at the Antelope Valley Fair in California after suffering minor injuries in a fall at home. Ace was also working on his new album, Origins Vol. 4 .
Alongside Gene Simmons , Paul Stanley , and Peter Criss , Ace founded KISS, where he remained from 1973 to 1982, leaving the band due to creative differences and drug problems.
