Ace Frehley became angry at a comment made by Paul Stanley and threatened to reveal "some dirt that nobody knows" about Stanley and Gene Simmons .

During an appearance on Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk , Ace Frehley responded to a derogatory comment made by Paul Stanley on The Howard Stern Show in early March (transcript via Blabbermouth ).

“I’m going to make a statement to Paul Stanley now. I’m telling you that I want a formal apology for what you said and a retraction within seven days,” Frehley demanded.

“And if I don’t get it in seven days, I’m going to go back on Ed Trunk’s show – if you’ll have me, Ed – and I’m going to say something dirty that nobody knows about Paul and Gene, that I’ve always kept to myself because I’m the kind of guy who doesn’t talk about that. I like to talk about the positive things,” he concluded.

Ace Frehley claims to have a 120-page manuscript on the subject that was written after he finished his book. “My lawyer has this document safely stored in a safe,” he states. “God forbid, but if anything happens to me, my lawyer has instructions to send it to the New York Times , Rolling Stone , everyone.”

“They can’t intimidate me by trying to hurt me or saying ‘you better not say anything about me live’ because then they’ll be completely screwed. Their careers will be ruined,” she continues. “These guys aren’t entirely clean. Do you know how many girls have sued Gene?”

The final straw for Ace Frehley was something Paul Stanley said about KISS's performance at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame . The band performed without its two original members, Frehley and Peter Criss , contrary to expectations for the event (via Loudwire ).

When asked about the matter on The Howard Stern Show , Paul Stanley replied: “[The organizers] were actually quite demanding that we play with the two original guys, Peter and Ace, but at this point it would be degrading to the [current] band and would confuse some people. Because if you saw people on stage who looked like KISS but sounded like that, maybe the band's name should be PISS.”

Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons have not yet commented on Ace Frehley's threat.
