Kiss founding guitarist Ace Frehley visited Brazil in early March promoting his latest solo album, Origins Vol. 1. In an interview with Wikimetal (listen in the player above), the musician spoke about the highlights of his career, his relationship with the current members of Kiss, and his plans for the future.

Asked if he left Kiss because he felt it was no longer his "dream job," Frehley replied: "When I decided to leave the band I was having problems with alcohol, and that affected my judgment. I think if I had been sober at that time I wouldn't have left the group."
When asked about his relationship with his former bandmates, Ace said he gets along well with everyone: “When I meet up with these guys, it feels like I never left. It feels like time has stood still.”
Frehley also revealed that his next album will feature original material, and that after this release he plans to release another album of covers, Origins Vol. 2 .
