Ace Frehley , the original Kiss , has had ups and downs in his relationship with his former bandmates who remain in the band, but claims he is currently on "good terms" with Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley . With the band back for their farewell tour, the creator of Spaceman doesn't rule out an appearance on The End of The Road Tour .
A few months after the controversy surrounding the KISStory documentary , in which Frehley and Peter Criss refused to participate due to a lack of financial agreement , the guitarist once again mentioned a possible performance with Kiss.
“Anything is possible – I’ve always said that. That’s the first question I’ve been asked over the years: ‘Would you consider doing a KISS reunion?’”, he said in an interview with Eddie Trunk (via Blabbermouth ). “I say: ‘I’ve never closed the door on anything.’ If the money is right and they offer it the right way, anything can happen.”
Despite the band's founders ruling out a full return of Frehley and Criss , the subject of a possible participation in shows before retirement always resurfaces among the musicians. "I'm on good terms with Paul and Gene, which is great, because we created something very special in the 1970s that lasted longer than so many other bands," the guitarist continued. "And God bless them. They're still around, I'm still around, Peter too."
