AC/DC will perform in São Paulo in addition to their Rock in Rio shows in September, according to a journalist.

AC/DC returned to the stage in early October after a seven-year hiatus and may play in São Paulo and Rio

According to columnist Lauro Jardim ( via O Globo ) , AC/DC will perform four shows in Brazil. The shows will take place in September of this year.

According to the columnist, there will be two shows at Rock In Rio while the other two will take place at Morumbi Stadium in São Paulo.

The news of a possible visit by the Australian band was first mentioned by José Norberto Flesch in October of last year. That same month, AC/DC returned to the stage after a seven-year hiatus with a grand show at Power Trip . With a lineup consisting of Angus Young (guitar), Brian Johnson (vocals), Cliff Williams (bass), Stevie Young (guitar), and Matt Laug (drums), the group delivered a show lasting almost two hours, featuring a total of 24 songs.

Rock in Rio takes place on September 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21 and 22.

AC/DC's history with Rock in Rio is long, dating back to the festival's first edition in 1985. At that time, the band headlined two days of the event. Despite this, the group has not performed at the festival since then.
