Johnson said that guitarist Malcolm Young did not participate in the recordings. According to the vocalist, Young is currently in the hospital and is being replaced in the band by his nephew, Stevie Young. For Johnson, the guitarist's absence was a challenge: "Stevie was magnificent, but when you're recording with this on your mind, with your bandmate sick, it's not fun."
