In the latest Wikimetal poll, 61% of fans felt that the new Queensrÿche maintained the band's high quality.
The band, currently consisting of Todd La Torre, Michael Wilton, Parker Lundgren, Eddie Jackson, and Scott Rockenfield, released their latest album, "Condition Human," in October. This is their second album with La Torre on vocals, following "Queensrÿche," released in 2013.
Following Geoff Tate's departure from the band in 2012, Queensrÿche went through a period split into two bands. In April 2014, Queensrÿche announced the final settlement in the battle over the band's name, determining that original musicians Michael Wilton, Eddie Jackson, and Scott Rockenfield, and new members Todd LaTorre and Parker Lundgren have exclusive rights to the name "Queensrÿche." Geoff Tate retained exclusive performance and recording rights for the songs from "Operation: Mindcrime" and "Operation: Mindcrime II" and even named his new band after the album.
