Accept , the legendary German metal band, will release their new album in 2026. The album will celebrate the band's fifty-year career.

The material will consist of re-recordings of songs from all phases of the group. In addition to the band itself, there will be special guests, such as Frank Bello and Billy Sheehan , bassists of Anthrax and Mr. Big , respectively.

During his appearance at the Guitar Summit in Germany, Bello said [transcription via Blabbermouth ]: “I’m a fan and a friend of theirs. They invited me to play on a song from their 50th anniversary album. It’s called ‘Save Us’ and it’s on their second album. There’s also ‘I’m a Rebel’. It’s very old-school, it has some good and fun bass lines, some funkier parts. I found it quite challenging.”

At the same event, Sheehan was also present and commented that he recorded four Accept songs for the new album. He also expressed his admiration for the band.

“I played on four songs. Accept is one of my all-time favorite heavy metal bands. Thank you, Germany! I recorded 'Fight it Back' from Balls to the Wall (1983), as well as the title track from Restless and Wild (1982). I forgot the other two. They'll be released soon.”
