Team Rock asked Accept guitarist Wolf Hoffman to choose his five favorite albums based on their guitar work, but the musician preferred to list the five musicians who most influenced him: “I prefer to tell you about my influences from when I was growing up and my favorite guitarists, because I don’t have favorite albums.”

Ritchie Blackmore: “My biggest influence in my playing style is probably Ritchie Blackmore (…) He was the guy in Germany that everyone admired.”
Uli Jon Roth: "He's probably the most talented guitarist I know, honestly."
Angus Young: “He’s one of those guys who’s never mentioned in the ‘who influenced you?’ list, but he definitely influenced my playing style, the way he writes riffs and solos with a kind of bluesy style. He’s basic and simple in his playing, but he does it very well.”
Glenn Tipton and KK Downing: “We toured with them in the early 80s, which was when we were maturing. And those two were our heroes. The way their guitars sounded and the riffs they played on stage were phenomenal.”
Joe Bonamassa: “If you want an example of a current guy that I think is phenomenal, it's Joe Bonamassa. Obviously he's not Metal, but man, he can play whatever he wants (…) He manages to express a lot with just a few notes.”
