Should AC/DC continue without Malcolm Young?

Check out the musicians' responses

At the Revolver Golden God awards ceremony, the Horns Up Rocks! channel asked band members if AC/DC should continue even without guitarist Malcolm Young. The Australian band recently announced that due to health problems, Young would be taking a break from activities.

Check out the main answers and leave your opinion in the comments: Should AC/DC continue without Malcolm Young?

– Wendy Dio (Ronnie James Dio's widow): Definitely. They are a legend, they must continue. They've done it once before.

– Kirk Windstein (ex-Down, Crowbar): No… Not so late in his career. I know he’s had some problems with alcohol and his nephew (or something like that) replaced him, but it’s too late now. “Black Ice” was an incredible album and it’s AC/DC, what more do they need to prove?

– Chuck Billy (Testament): I think they should keep writing new songs. But I understand if they don't. I understand and respect that because Malcolm is a big part of the business. He was, early in his career, the biggest songwriter, and whatever he said was final.

– Rex Brown (ex-Pantera, Down): No, there is no AC/DC without Malcolm! I shouldn't say this, but for me Malcolm is the soul of AC/DC.

– Sin Quirin (Ministry): That's difficult. As a fan, I want to say yes because I love the band and they're amazing, but he's a very important part of AC/DC. It's difficult, and I hope everything works out.

– Jason Hook (Five Finger Death Punch): Yes. Because we all have a retirement age, and that shouldn't affect everyone if they want to continue. When you talk about five individuals, each one has a different idea of where the end point will be. The music is more important than who plays guitar. Look at Kiss!
