AC/DC 's legendary album Highway to Hell turned 40 years old in 2019, and to celebrate this milestone, the band broke their silence on social media and revealed some surprises for fans.

On their official Instagram, the group revealed what the album cover would have looked like if the American record label had approved it. At the time of release, the artwork was only used in Australia. See the cover below.

AC/DC's sixth studio album was the last with vocalist Bon Scott, who passed away at age 33. Highway to Hell was celebrated in the latest episode of the Wikimetal podcast , available on all streaming platforms.
