AC/DC: "Thunderstruck" music video surpasses one billion views on YouTube.

The video joins clips from Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Linkin Park, and Queen, which have also surpassed the mark.

The classic music video for AC/DC has surpassed one billion views on YouTube. Directed by David Mallet , the video was uploaded to the platform in November 2012 and was filmed in August 1990 at Brixton Academy in London.

"Thunderstruck" is the lead single from AC/DC's 1990 album The Razors Edge . The song reached number five on Billboard 's Mainstream Rock .

The song's video joins other classics in reaching one billion views, such as "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica , "Sweet Child O' Mine" by Guns N' Roses , "Numb" by Linkin Park , and "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen .
