AC /DC posted a photo revealing the band members rehearsing for their upcoming tour. After 8 years, the band is preparing for a series of shows in Europe. The tour begins at the end of May. Currently, the lineup is a combination of classic and new members: Brian Johnson on vocals, Angus Young on guitar, Stevie Young on guitar, Matt Laug on drums, and Chris Chaney on bass.
The European tour, which will also include the UK, begins on the 17th of this month. The first stop will be in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. This will also be Johnson's first tour since 2016, when he took a break due to hearing problems. To finish that year's tour, the band called on Axl Rose , who performed the remaining shows.
In 2020, AC/DC recorded their last album, Power Up. It marked the return of Johnson and Rudd and was highly acclaimed by critics. According to Heavy Consequence , it ranked fifth on their list of best albums of the year.

Laug, who has previously played with Alanis Morissette, Alice Cooper , and Slash's Snakepit , joined the band at the Power Trip in California. He first participated in the October performance, shortly after the announcement that Phil Rudd would not be able to attend the show.
Chaney, who played with Jane's Addiction , recently joined the band shortly after Cliff Williams . He announced he would stop after Power Trip , and Chaney took his place.
